Current Research
My research deals with implicit learning of regularities, and how these can be overcome given new evidence. In my PhD with Prof. Moshe Bar at Bar Ilan University I studied how temporal and spatial regularities embedded in the environment are learned over time, and how the evolvement of such learning is expressed in response speed and eye movements. As a postdoctoral researcher with Dr. Liad Mudrik at Tel Aviv University I studied whether statistical learning can take place when regularities are not available to conscious awareness, and how can unconscious information overcome conflicting conscious knowledge. In my current research I examine the conditions enabling update of memories that have been formed implicitly, and the neural tokens underlying this process.
