My current research explores a mysterious cognitive property known as curiosity. How does curiosity function as a mental and neural state? How does it shape our attention and motivate learning? How does curiosity help us process information and interact with the world?
In the past, I have worked on the real-world dynamics of attention, video game immersion, novel skill acquisition, and mental imagery reconstruction, among other topics.
