The Postbac Certificate Program in Psychology is designed for students with little or no background in psychology and emphasizes appropriate introductory and intermediate-level studies. Admission to the Postbac Program in Psychology is limited by the capacity of the Department of Psychology to offer research opportunities to post baccalaureate students. Usually 15 to 25 new students are admitted each year.
The program admits students in fall and spring. Applications are evaluated on a rolling basis. The Postbac Certificate Program is administered through the School of Professional Studies. All application related questions can be directed there. In order to allow time for the processing of visas, international students should submit their applications for the approaching Fall semester at least 12 weeks before the application deadline.
Further information about application materials, visa requirements and admission decisions can be found in the School of Professional Studies Psychology Postbac Certificate Program pages.
