All students admitted to the Psychology Department are offered a financial package that supports them from September of their first year through the following five years.
In 2022-2023 the stipend is $33,900 for the academic year and $11,420 for the summer of 2023. Additionally, University subsidized housing near the campus is available and tuition and health insurance fees are paid for the five year period.
This support package combines Research Assistant positions and Graduate Teaching Fellowship positions.
As a Research Assistant, students collaborate on research with a faculty member and graduate teaching responsibilities involve assisting in instruction on one course per year.
