Area of Interest
Jo is interested in how our social relationships regulate our emotional experiences. She is enthusiastic about using both naturalistic and laboratory methods to examine how the social regulation of emotion can lead to adaptive and maladaptive outcomes. Ultimately, she hopes to leverage social relationships to improve well-being. Before coming to Columbia, Jo earned her B.A. in Psychology with a Specialization in Computing from UCLA.
