Jocelyn Lai is a postdoctoral research scholar working with Dr. Kevin Ochsner and Dr. Daniel Ames at Columbia University. She completed her Ph.D. at the University of California, Irvine. Her research uses quantitative and qualitative methods to examine the role of individual differences and contextual factors in emotion and social decision-making. Subsequently, she is interested in how these patterns relate to interpersonal well-being across cultures and the adult lifespan.
